Eco-Friendly Diwali

To sensitise students and parents about keeping our environment healthy and sustainable Lakshmipat Singhania Academy took the initiative of celebrating ‘Green Diwali’.

Car stickers and badges with the slogan- ‘SAY NO TO CRACKERS’ were distributed among students, teachers and other staff members.

​

An Exhibition cum sale was organised to sell diyas, candles, greeting cards and various handicraft items. Five NGOs, who work with underprivileged children, and mentally and physically challenged persons, namely Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy, Asha-Arko, Asha Niketan, The Hope Foundation and Ankurkala put up stalls in the throw-ball court to sell gift items prepared by their school children.

The event invoked family feelings amongst students by showing an eagerness to buy gift items for their family members to celebrate an Eco-Friendly Diwali.
